Engineer

Overview

We're looking for engineers to join our team at Roku Inc., where we provide system development, EC construction, and maintenance services to clients nationwide from our Fukuoka/Kitakyushu base. In our lean team, you'll work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of web applications and business systems
• EC site construction and customization using Shopify and EC-CUBE
• Development of IoT/BLE device integration systems
• System development utilizing AI/ChatGPT API
• Maintenance, operation, and improvement of existing systems
• Technical communication with clients

Required Skills

• 2+ years of web application development experience
• Practical experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
• Experience with backend languages (PHP, Python, Node.js, etc.)
• Team development experience using Git
• Business-level Japanese communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React/Next.js/Vue.js frameworks
• Shopify development experience (Liquid, Shopify API)
• Cloud services experience (AWS/GCP)
• Docker/container technology experience
• IoT/BLE development experience
• AI/ML development experience
